Job Description

This is an interactive simulation that uses video game technology to help patients deal with chronic diseases.
Since this work is for a proprietary software application, an NDA must be signed before work can commence.
Meg is the moderator for a group of three young men with hemophilia who have volunteered to discuss their experiences with other hemophiliacs. The focus of their conversations has to do with the issues hemophiliacs must go through when they are transitioning from living at home to independence and making a life out on their own. During the course of the simulation Meg will introduce topics selected by the user for Chris (25), Marcus (19) and Jake (17) to discuss.
Meg is an experienced hematology nurse in her mid to late 30s. She's known all three of these young men for years, and has assisted in their care. Because of this she has an easy relationship with them and they are very comfortable speaking frankly in front of her. That said, she's not shy about steering the conversation back on-course when they digress too far. Meg is friendly yet professional. She's used to working with boys and young men, so she's not easily shocked by their language or expressions. She knows not to be too stuffy or formal when speaking to them.
The attached script includes a few general directorial comments ([in brackets]) throughout. In each of the sample dialogs, Meg's lines have been highlighted for easy reference.
Audio should be recorded in high/CD-quality WAV format with one or two takes of each line. We do not require the actor to export lines individually, so the final audio may be delivered in several large files that will be cut up and processed here at Syandus.
Final recorded lines are subject to client, sponsor and medical-legal team review, so some pickups are usually required after the original takes are submitted.
