Job Description

Bruce's Garage Video Mechanics began, you guessed it, in a garage in 1995. Its mandate was to provide corporate communicators with the technical resources and expertise to provide quality video solutions.

While the garage is a memory now, the mandate has held true and our award winning productions are receiving rave reviews from clients across North America.

The script deals with spirit and has an introduction about 2 minutes long which requires an aboriginal (in English) accent.

We would prefer an older male. We're after a read which sounds like a toned down version of the character in the Lakota commercial. The music will be Native American Music Rain Dance. The voice-over will accompany scenic shots from across Canada, panning from the East to the West coast.

Here's a sample of our script. Looking forward to hearing your interpretation.

Thank you,

We are hundreds of distinct peoples – different tribes that settled in areas across this land called Kanata, long before the arrival of settlers from across the waters – the Iroquois, Algonquin, Cree, Black Foot, Mohawk, Huron, the Inuit – are just some of the tribes we call The First People. We are all one in our belief in the Spirits – (pause).

Spirits are powerful and are sensed in the land, the water, in the plants and the animals. (pause) We reflect these great spirits through symbols which surpass all words and are all powerful. We have long relied on these symbols to document important events and the history of our tribes but also for guidance and instruction.
