Job Description

We're initially looking for voiceover talent for 6-8 short "How-to" screencasts for our web-based software used by the audio industry. Each screencast will be no more than 2 minutes long. We will provide the screencast (using software which highlights mouse clicks, captures the screen, etc) and also a script.

I would need a finished sounding voiceover, so if you're using audio software that's a plus.

It's very likely that we'll continue to produce screencasts for our other software products if the response to these is positive.

We'd like an informative and helpful "sound" to the screencasts without being too dry. The audience is the end user of the software, so directions will be simple and to the point. It shouldn't sound like we're marketing a product but rather that we're there to help.

We have just released a new Beta version of one web software product and it will be in evaluation for about two weeks. We'd like to have the first screencast done then (about two weeks from now and fairly short) and then one per week after that.

What I need to do now is get approximate pricing for your services, so I can get approval to go ahead. I know you can't give me an exact price since I haven't supplied a script, but if you can use the description I've given to give me a ballpark that will be good enough to get underway.

Thank you!

Jon Anderson
Senior Product Manager
