Job Description

PLEASE NOTE - there are two attachments, a demo radio ad with music and a scratch narration track without music. Please follow the scratch narration track for line-by-line vocal direction.

We are looking for an authentic African American female age 40-60 (not too young sounding). A natural narration style that is not sing-song or phony. We are looking for someone who speaks like a real person, not a radio announcer. It’s a soft read, but we need your read to match the specific inflection and emphasis points in the scratch track (see attachment). It is soft, but with authority. You should absolutely attempt to imitate the scratch narrator word-for-word. That would be excellent. Please DO NOT apply if your read style is dramatic, or a sing-songy DJ type. You need to sound like a real person, not a narrator. Your job is to support the script with a subtle, soft authority. Thanks and good luck!
