Job Description

Approx. two minutes of text.

The audience is hospital CEOs and hospital staff. Confident, professional, and objective. Not dramatic or overly-happy, but not cold, either. This is an overview video for members for their new website that helps them find information.

If you would like to add subtle music or background to the beginning of the track, that is OK, but by no means required.

We are finalizing the script and will provide the full script shortly. What we have so far is below.

Thank you for your interest!

Congratulations logging in to the new California Hospital Association Website. In this two minute video, we will introduce you to some of the most important new features which will make it easier to find the information you need.

We'll take a tour of the new site structure, show you how to find what you need, and subscribe to personalized updates through the my topics interface.

The new document archive allows you to find information different ways. Let's say you wanted to find a memo about the hospital tax, but couldn't remember where it was or how to find it. You could start by searching for the document or by browsing the archive. Since we know that we're looking for information with the keyword "tax", we'll type tax into the search box and hit enter. The results are what you'd expect from Google, except we've added some information about the results on the right side which can help you understand and filter the hundreds of results. There are some helpful breakdowns, such as the date authored, where it was featured on the site, and the type of document it is. To filter the search results to memos, we'll click "Memos".
