Job Description

I am looking for someone to voice a corporate video that will be distributed internally to the company's sales force as an educational and motivational tool.

Currently, we are planning to take the approach of making this video feel a little like an updated version of a 1950's newsreel/educational film. The voice should be very friendly and informative.

We are attempting to create a video that is memorable and entertaining without losing credibility in conveying the message, so, it can't be too over the top.

Here is an example of what the client is using as a point of reference.

I am meeting with the client today and we are still trying to determine the overall tone, so anyone who would like to submit an audition would be greatly appreciated!

Total word count of the present script (attached) is 1043 words. Please let me know what a fair fee would be for this work.

If anyone would like to submit a voiced sample, please use any or all of this section of the script:

"This year, with the Novel H1N1 2009 flu pandemic making its way across the globe, the importance of being prepared to combat flu viruses can’t be underestimated. You can help your customers prepare in two ways: by fighting germs on surfaces AND hands this flu season.

How? You can help them assemble their very own do-it-yourself Flu Preparedness Kit.

You and your customers can turn any storage closet, storeroom, shelf, or storage container into a Flu Preparedness Kit. All you have to do is stock them with the Clorox portfolio of disinfecting and sanitizing products and you’ll help your customers stay one step ahead of flu viruses this season. It’s that easy.

Clorox has become the most trusted name in disinfection, fighting outbreaks of flu and other infectious diseases for nearly a century. In fact, it’s the only maker of disinfecting products to form a partnership with the American Red Cross, providing products and financial contributions to help with disaster relief efforts.

And now, with a complete line of surface cleaners and disinfectants, as well as alcohol-based hand sanitizers, Clorox makes it even easier to kill germs…and break the cycle of germ transmission."

Please keep in mind that the voice should be friendly and not scary or foreboding. Flu is something we all live with and survive every season, so we simply want to make people aware of how they might get infected and provide a new set of tools to help people stay healthy.
