Job Description

Melrose Jewelers is an online retailer of Rolex watches and fine jewelery. We are looking for a female voice over artist to be the voice of our autoattendant menu, and message on hold recording. Artist to be selected will meet the following guidelines.

-Sounds about 35 years old. Preferably with Slight British or European accent. Must use standard American pronunciation. Not looking for someone that sounds like an British Native. Think British woman that moved to California 20 years ago. Will consider good submissions with no accent as well.

-Sounds educated and sophisticated, with sexy or elegant undertone. Smart first, attractive second.

-More conversational and less like a spokesperson. We want the person to sound like they could be a member of the company, rather than a professional voice actress. Definitely don't want something that sounds automated or computer generated. Think front desk receptionist at a Fortune 100 company.

Recording for the autoattendant menu will be done over the phone by dialing into the voicemail system. Will compensate for any phone charges that may occur. The message on hold system would be professionally recorded and submitted as a data file.
Script should be under 1000 words, but some messages may need to be recorded twice for different voicemail boxes. Artist must be willing to work with us to develop a voice quality and finished product we are happy with us, which may involve retakes. Will consider offers over $500 if artist is exceptional.

Please submit a demo of the following script.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a response for the Rolex retailer autoattendant menu. While I received dozens of excellent submissions, none of them were exactly what I was looking for. I decided to repost the job with more defined parameters to see if I could find a better fit. Please feel free to resubmit if you already did for the last post, and I will consider it.

Thanks, and good luck!
