Job Description

We need brief introductory message (approximately 1 minute) for our end-user, free, windows-based software which is
used to create and send voice messages via email (see: http:www.speak-a-message.com).

When a user opens our software for the first time, there will be only one voice message in the list of available voice messages - this introductory message.

Thus this message serves as an example of a message which could have been created with our software. It briefly introduces the user to our software and alerts the user to the software's key features.

The main message we want to get across is that sending voice messages has significant benefits over sending textual email messages: It is faster and more personal. The rational argument is that Speak-A-Message is a timesaver. The emotional argument is that it is personal: It is great to listen to rich voice messages.

The script is attached below. We are flexible with respect to making modifications to improve the flow of the message.

We need the recording as uncompressed .wav file. We will compress it ourselves.

Timeframe for delivery:

We need the recording as soon as possible.

Script:
--------------------------------------------
...be vocal!

With Speak-A-Message email just becomes faster and more personal. Your voice expresses so much more than text. And speaking is about 3 times faster than typing.
In addition to recording and playback, Speak-A-Message provides the following three key features:
The first is Speech-to-Text: Automatically transcribe your voice message to text. This saves typing and time!
Second - skins: Personalize the user interface of your recorder by skinning it - for example with a photo of yourself. Recipients see your skin when listening to your audio message.
Third - Photo Messages. Easily add voice comments to photos and send them. Even in large numbers.
By the way, Speak-A-Message is not required for playing back your voice messages.
Speak-A-Message: ...be vocal!
--------------------------------------------

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
