Job Description

Thank you - I'm still looking for a main narrator. If you wish, please send me a sample of your voice as a narrator. If you would please, label the file with your name and "narrator" Below is a piece of sample script you can use. Thank you, "This is a story of how an unlikely band of veteran soldiers and worried citizens, old men and beardless boys, sick and crippled convalescents, joined together to protect their homes and their city. This is Lynchburg’s story." If you haven't submitted a character voice for review, please feel free to send on. Please label it with your name and type. e.g. "Bob Smith_Northern" or "Bob_Smith Southern" Thank you,

We need several character voices for our project. These voices will portray Northern & Southern persons, military & civilian, upper & lower class. Much in the style of Ken Burns' style of using different voices to portray the words of story characters.

Some of the readings are only a few sentences, some a little longer. We tentatively have a main narrator selected, but we're willing to listen to voices for that job.

This project has a modest budget and is being created by a non-profit historical society.

Please indicate your specialty (Northern, Southern, presidential, working class, etc.) and an idea of your rates. (per word?).

This documentary will be used at our historic site and will be sold on DVD. It will run about 30 minutes.

Thank you for your interest!

Note from Since client has not provided audition script please submit a generic demo for client to review
