Job Description

I need a strong male voice to read a prepared script for a video project I am working on for a Police agency in Texas. I will be overlaying the voice over with appropriate video clips.

Candidates are requested to provide a sample of the first few lines of the attached script (not the whole thing of course). The final selection and approval will be made by the Chief of Police and his second in command. I am the video editor, so I need your rate and sample. I'm interested in just the voice track.

Word count: See attached script.

The audience for this video are potential police recruits, young people 18-25, and agency conferences.

These guys are cops, so it should sound official.

Special Requests: Must be clear, no accents.

Time frame:
The decision will be made after the 1st of the year no later than January 8th. I will submit samples for review on January 5th.

This isn't necessarily a union job, and all are welcome to submit. I've posted a budget for this job according to the form on this site, but I'm not sure exactly what you might charge for this script. My client is willing to pay for quality and talent.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
