Job Description

Looking for 10-15 Authentic British Males to record 20 Training videos for Trucking and Automotive Education Company. Final project to be used in the UK. Each video will be between 8 and 20 hours finished.
Recording quality will be taken into consideration. Persons using a Pro Tools studio preferred but not necessary. No Music, just dry recordings for finished project.
Please record an audition and email sample with the file name having your first and last name and the word “trucking” included. ex: JohnSmithTrucking.mp3

Please send a sample recording of the following script:

“For most components attached to the frame by threaded fasteners, grade 8 and 8.2 phosphate- and oil-coated hex head bolts and grade C cadmium-plated and wax-coated
prevailing torque lock nuts are used. Prevailing torque lock nuts have distorted sections of threads to provide torque retention. For attachments where clearance is minimal, low- profile hex head bolts and grade C prevailing torque lock nuts are used. Many trucks today are manufactured with constant clamping force fasteners such as Huck fasteners. These fasteners are installed by robotic assembly processes but are usually destroyed on removal. Replace with either Huck fasteners (access with a bulky Huck tool can be a problem) or a similar grade of bolt. “

Project must be completed in a timely manner so those who have full time hours to devote to this project are strongly encouraged to submit and audition.

Final project will be released online and CD format.

This is a non-Union project

Audio files must be delivered via email for auditions. WAV files will be required for the actual project.

An audio sample is proved from the American English translation so you can get an idea of what we are looking for.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
