Job Description

Looking for someone who can impersonate SpongeBob SquarePants to read a list of commands that will be used as a replacement voice for a GPS. These voices are intended to be "fun and funny," to replace the boring stock voices.

There are about 200 commands/~700 words, each of which is either a short sentence or single word/short phrase. Having done this before, I can tell you that it will only take you about 15 minutes to record in a single, uninterrupted file. I will split it apart and edit it.

For audition purposes, read the following lines (and feel free to throw in any "SpongeBob-isms" to spice the lines up. Ad libs are encouraged!

AUDITION SCRIPT
1. Continue driving 17 point 5 miles, then take exit right.
2. Are we lost? GAARRYY, where are you?!
3. You don’t need a license to drive a samwidch.
4. You know what's funnier than 24?...25!
5. "You know, if I were to die right now, in some sort of fiery explosion due to the carelessness of a friend...well, that would just be ok."

Note: Please do not send generic character reels unless SpongeBob is one of the characters.

Thanks!

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
