Job Description

We seek a male voice for "Ray" a 16-year old avatar. See attached image of Ray and please visit our web site. www.headroomlearning.com

Together with 9 other teenage voices, Ray presents advice for SAT/PSAT/ACT test preparation. The product has a conversational format.

Our goal is authenticity in our demographically realistic set of avatars. As you can see from the attached image, Ray is East Asian.

If you actually have a slight hint of accent or dialect from Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, or the Philippines it would be more than welcome, but this is not required. Please -- No artifice.

You will work from home (on your own schedule), using a proprietary system for recording and uploading your lines. You must be available to submit voice-overs throughout next week. We are on a tight schedule

The pay is a flat $300. The readings amount to approximately 45 minutes or less of spoken lines for your character. However, please anticipate spending up to 5 hrs on the project (recording, re-recording, and uploading).

This will be for a leading retail product, to be used by tens of thousands of students. So, apart from the pay, it will be a great trophy project to put on your CV. We plan to create several more similar products and would expect to come back to you in the future.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
