Main Screen:

Welcome to Ripfactory Touch Screen User Interface for our range of in store CD Conversion solutions.

In conjunction with Ripfactory’s automated robotic hardware, the simple to use touch screen user interface brings simplicity to the user in just a few easy steps.

To begin, press ‘OK’

Voucher_Number screen:

Begin by entering the 14 digit Voucher Number they have been given at the point of sale transaction using the number buttons on screen.

This Voucher Number is based on a combination of date, time and number of CDs purchased and will therefore always be 14 digits long, thereby allowing a unique transaction number.

Format screen:

Next, the user can simply select the bitrate at which they would like to have their CD’s loaded onto their digital music device, with the UI providing non technical help with the choice. Once a bitrate is selected, the application will proceed to the next screen.

Connect_Check screen:

Following a short wait for a member of store staff to load their CDs and then connect their device to the application hardware below the counter, the customer then presses the ‘Ok’ button to proceed with the transfer of CD’s to their device.

Progress_Bar screen:

The progress screen is maintained for as long as the transfer process is running, clearly showing the Artist, Title and Year of Release information on the screen and displaying the Cover Art for each CD being transferred, along with a simple progress bar indicating time left to complete.

When complete, the user now has a fully encoded set of CD’s directly loaded onto his or her music device, ready to walk and enjoy.
