Job Description

We have a children's book which is a condensed version of a proposed short animated (possible DVD) story. The characters live in a woodland setting (ala Winnie The Pooh) . The character voice we are seeking is for the main antagonist.
This character is currently wirtten to have a heavy German accent saying things like "Mine gootness" in place of "my goodness" , and a few 'auch-du-libers" tossed in here and there. The character is a scrooge type character named Cranky Crane. He owns the towns' Fix-It repair service and lives on a secluded island in the Marsh, communicating with the Protagonist (Miracle Mouse)and protaganist's friend Okey Dokey the beaver. He usually communicates via carrying pidgeons if this helps you come up with some idea for a sample audio.

The reading will be several pages in length. A more detailed scope of work will be better described , once we are able to locate the prefferred voice. We are located near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This is to come across as a Disney-styled throwback to a classic animated short. The audience is young, 4 to 10 years of age.

The character , like Scrooge, is angered by the world and eventually has a change of heart. He has an odd character trait of saying "Huumpth" whenever he gets very mad and often says this when he is finished talking to someone.
