Job Description

Please note I anticipate approximately 8-13 minutes of finished dialogue

What I need done:

I need a voice over recorded for my fan-made video game for the upcoming release of the Blizzard Entertainment proprietary property, StarCraft 2. This fan-made game is a not-for profit free community game series to be played by owners of the StarCraft 2 video game.

What I already have versus what the voice talent will provide:

I only need dry, noise/hiss free recordings (without radio bass fx)

Other requirements that the voice talent will need to know:

This job is for a large assortment of 'bit' characters and one 'main' character. The bit characters will have different accents, inflections, etc. (One might be New England, another Southern Drawl, another flat with no accent, another British, French, Australian, etc.) (Not necessarily all of those but you get the idea)

The above is the primary purpose for this job.

Specific expertise that I'm seeking:

I need to hire someone who can provide good characterization and make the script 'come to life'

Timeframe for delivery:

I'll need the voice-over as soon as it is feasible to be complete

Test File/Audition:

For the primary character, in no accent North American, please read the following line:

"We have transmitted this message with a 99% degree of accuracy"

(Stern; Commanding) "Stand down...or be destroyed..."

In an Australian accent:

(Yelling) "ConFed! It’s ConFed. Take’em down!"

In a general voice, flat accent:

"They got a jammer! (Finally, figured it out) That’s what’s been screwin with our com’s! Take that thing out and call in the cavalry!!"
