Job Description

My company is creating voice-over introductions for a professor's powerpoint presentation (approximately 15 lessons).

I am looking for male, mature (but not stale), upbeat and light (fun sounding) (approx 1800 words).

The tone we're looking for is instructional, but also engaging and "upbeat".

AUDITION SCRIPT

In this lesson, you will learn the definition of nutrition and other nutritional terms and see how nutritional choices affect health. You will also be introduced to the meanings behind the information commonly found on food labels, and to the differences between a qualitative and quantitative review of nutritional needs. As you read the lesson, consider the questions “Why are we here?” and “What is the meaning of life?” as they relate to nutrition and your nutritional choices.

At the end of this lesson, you should be able to examine the leading causes of illness and death in the United States; explore how habits affect health; review the quantitative aspect of nutrition; discover nutritional status terminology and food labeling recommendations; and, explore the qualitative and quantitative science of nutrition.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
