The right talent MUST be able to deliver convincing characters with a British and Italian accents, announcer, and mature reads. Prior narration experience is required. The ideal male voice talent will be willing to read approximately 3808 words or 30 pages.

NON-Union Voice Talent MUST have his/her own recording studio, delivery files in WAV format and capable of uploading files to our FTP server. The budget for this assignment is tight. The text below contains a small sample of the “tipbits” contained in the book.

Please deliver straight with authority. (optional: slight Italian accent)

In True Romance, Vincenzo Coccotti (Christopher Walken) interrogates Clifford Worley (Dennis Hopper) over the whereabouts of Worley’s son, who’s just pinched a suitcase of cocaine belonging to Coccotti’s mob boss.

Coccotti, with classic passive-aggressive aplomb, first explains how he learned the “pantomime” from his father, the world-heavyweight champion of Sicilian liars:

“There are seventeen different things a guy can do when he lies to give himself away. A guy’s got seventeen pantomimes. A woman’s got twenty … [and] if you know them like you know your own face, they beat lie detectors all to hell.”

An interrogation, he tells a battered and bruised Worley, is like a game of show and tell:
“You don’t want to show me nothin’, but you’re telling me everything.”
Interesting Grace Note: Coccotti’s quest for the truth is aided by pre-Sopranos mob boss James Gandolfini, who gets medieval on Worley’s poor arse.

Note: Stock demos are welcomed for this project.
