Job Description

Hey there.

So we need to make a phone greeting for a place called Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve (check them out on the net). This is a very cool, experiential based place. Doing some very revolutionary things in the eco tourism and education market. This would be the greeting played while on hold. About a minute long.

We need a female voice. Earthy but professional. Not salesy and no strong accents please (this is a Canadian client). Read in a relaxed, pleasant and engaged voice. This phone recording will interlaced with forest sounds like the wolves howling, nature sounds etc. You're setting the mood for people to want to visit this place.

Haliburton Forest is a very cutting edge facility. Privately-owned but completely welcome to the public. The man who runs this place is taking forestry to a whole new level and these messages should match that optimism and energy. Make Haliburton Forest sound enticing, like "I have to see this place" without again being too sales pitchy. Sincere and engaged trumps everything else.

Note: There are a series of these to be produced so the thought is to use the same voice for the remainder of the series. Basically there's more where this came from.

Thanks for listening. Looking forward to hearing the auditions.

Charlie
