Job Description

Project: This is a children's piece for a southern baptist ministry. It is about a hospital chaplain stationed in Iraq and how he shows soldiers the love of Christ.

Voice type: Male: 20's to 30's that is energetic, fun, conversational. The narrator is a Staff SGT. So think like a drill sgt. for this this read. Like a typical military type who is on a recon mission to find what compassion is. This is a fun read with some authority to your voice. Just have fun with it.

Audience: 1st through 5th grade boys

Distribution: This is a video that is part of a curriculum kit. It is not meant for broadcast, though it could end up on the web.

Special Requests: The producer will want to be on the phone during the read. If this is not a possibility, then do not apply.

Timeframe: Read needs to be done before May 14.

Note from It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
