Job Description

Hello there!

I am looking for a professional enthusiastic and upbeat narrator for a documentary on the 1985, Disney film, "Return to Oz". The narration will only be at the most a few paragraphs long if not shorter.

We have been fundraising the money via Kickstarter - and we are WAY above our goal for the film project. We have decided - to extend and add some additional things such as professional narrator for the project. The DVD is a look back on the 1985 film "Return to Oz". We are featuring the director, Walter Murch as well as others involved from the film and cast members.

Please take a look at the sample script intro - for the beginning of our film. It is a little long - but we would like to see how you can "take home" and pronounce the words and hear of your sound style, etc.
Please feel free to read this for your audition. Please note - the (Rid-ley) for example on how to pronounce a name.

I have produced another film already - The Wonderful World of Oz: Celebrating The Oz Community and also an audio drama, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Both times we have hired and used voices.com for actors. This will be my second film.

Note from Voices.com: This job posting has been reviewed and approved by Voices.com staff. Voices.com recommends that you record a portion of the client’s script to audition for this project. Please refrain from slating your audition unless specifically asked to do so by the client. Please title the audition file with your name (e.g. JohnSmith.mp3) to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
