Job Description

Hello! My name is Madison Stubbs, and I am a BFA2 Character Animation Student at Calarts. Every year students at Calarts such as myself have to put together an animated film. This year I will be working on my second year film, which is two minutes and thirty seconds long. When completed, this film will be fully colored, fully animated, and shown to many of my peers and faculty at the school. I will also post the film online, which is guaranteed views, as it will be on the Calarts Character Animation Vimeo Page. This page is viewed by thousands every year.
Eagleman is the story of a man named Gunner Fog who collects Eagle Statues. After years of collecting he only has one left to obtain, one that he's not even sure exists, the legendary Texan Limited. The story is told through a narration format throughout the majority of the film. The film opens with a conversation between an interviewer (Diane O'Hare) and Gunner Fog, transitions into the narrated segment, and concludes with a wordless ending. You will be playing the role of Diane O'Hare, the interviewer who goes to Gunner Fog's house for information about his Eagle Statue collection. Diane O'Hare has few words in this film, but is an important character, as her snappiness towards Gunner Fog causes Gunner Fog to open up about his hobby. When thinking of Diane's voice, think of a female reporter such as Diane Sawyer or Katie Couric.

During the recording I will have the animatic, which is a timed out version of the storyboards I have created for the film, as well as Diane O'Hare's backstory bio so you can have a fleshed out understanding of the character when we record the dialog.

I would prefer if you could meet me and the other voice actor at Calarts to record the dialog. We have a professional recording studio available to us which I can rent out for our use. Recording should take no more than a few hours.

If you have any questions about the project, please don't hesitate to ask!

Thank you so much for your consideration!

-Madison Stubbs
