Job Description

About Us: We are a new surfing / kitesurfing manufacturer. We make surfboards, powerkites and clothing for an international market.
Out target audience is surfers and kitesurfers generally in the 20-40 age bracket.

This project involves a series of informative short films on the technical aspects of the equipment.
We will commence script reading in mid July.
We will be posting these short films one at a time via

We are in need of a person/s with a suitable voice for describing technical aspects of Kitesurfing/surfing equipment for online information videos and documentaries.

The successful talent will speak clear english, have a relaxed but alive (not boring!) feel, a slight accent is ok but nothing too heavy. Age group would be mid 20's to early 40's. Open to all subtle accents - we are an international brand looking to appeal to all nations so a voice with a harder to pick accent would be ideal (perhaps someone who has spent time in several different countries).

This is for the first of 34 clips we need to make. We will also be filming additional clips for television advertising.

The script attached is a very brief look at what is required. The first sentence is to be spoken for our information/educational clips, the second sentence is for our more dramatic advertising/documentary clips.

If you already have a demo that you think demonstrates what we are after then that is fine to submit.

The first movie will be a 2 minute script. We require you to supply high quality clear audio with mistakes edited out. 1 take should be enough, if some parts need to be altered we will advise but as long as its clear and correct wording we will be content.
Please quote on this first movie, keeping in mind you will get an invite for all other movies and possibly get most of them. (looking to share the scripts with one male and one female ideally).

Thanks for your time and best of luck to all bidders.

Note from It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
