Job Description

This is a short :30 LEGO, Spiderman piece for the release of Spiderman: Homecoming. The job is for Tongal (who is working with LEGO) and will have cinema exposure.

When the piece opens, it will feature an "announcer" who gives a quick synopsis of what's happening. The current script is: "Spiderman waits for his chance to impress Mr. Stark." We are looking for a sound along the lines of the TV announcer in the beginning of Pixar's "UP". https://goo.gl/j6XgBq

That said, Marvel is really pushing the modern feel with this film, so it won't be quite as vintage sounding. However, we are looking to tap into the classic, "comic book" feel of the narrators from old superhero cartoons. As Tony Stark says in the new Spiderman: HC trailers, "There's a little grey area in there..." =)

The line should be spoken quickly, and in a very hyped/exciting voice. Again, think the classic narrator feel in the beginning of the old Superman cartoons from the '50s, who gives the quick synopsis of the terrible peril Superman is in. Definitely upper register - although I wouldn't mind exploring a bit with a deeper, more epic feel. Also, I'm not sure what "accent" you would call that, but they always had a very distinct feel to them.
