Job Description

Hi - I was wondering if you can do a slight Japanese sounding accent for an English language narration. We are doing an online training course for Suntory whiskies - but for Sales Teams in the U.S. We wanted to have the narration sound like a native Japanese with a slight accent speaking english. Do you know what I mean?

They are a very reserved and conservative company. Highly professional and minimal emotion. At the same time, we need to appeal to US learners so it can't be too dull sounding. So a balance with some emotion yet reserved and professional.

Here's a few line from the opening video - if you are interested - possibly submit a quick demo?:

"The Art of Japanese Whisky ... a joining of nature and people that is more artisan than industry. This is the vision of the world's leading Japanese Whisky maker - Suntory.

Inspired by traditional Scottish whisky, our founder Shinjiro Torii had a dream to create a perfect whisky that reflects the nature of Japan and the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship ...from choosing a terrain and climate completely different from Scotland.... to pot stills more varied than any Scottish distillery.... to using wood and blending techniques found only in Japan."

Please let me know your thoughts. The overall project is about 6 pages of reading, and we generally have a budget of $700 for this.
