Job Description

Legacy of the Confederation is a fan-made 'mod' or 'campaign' which is designed to be played via Blizzard Entertainment's proprietary game engine for 'StarCraft 2'. Legacy of the Confederation is not in any way affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard.

This job is for the depiction of a single female lead character (approximately 15 minutes of dialogue) as well as a few 'bit' or 'stock' characters with anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes of dialogue and different accents.

Only postings with auditions will be considered. For audition, please record the following lines for the character shown below. I am looking for a person who is best able to 'act' the lines, conveying the necessary emotions and inflections such that the read sounds 'real.' Please note Voices.com's recommendation to watermark all auditions.

The character is a police officer thrown into the middle of an extraterrestrial invasion of earth. The character is 'tough' but not 'butch.' She has a soft side which is conveyed in part of the script. The character has no accent. The following are the audition lines.

(The line below is while the character is in the patrol car. After acknowledging orders via radio, she speaks to herself rhetorically and then back to the radio)

"(To Radio) Roger Dispatch. (To self) And as usual, Officer Davis is animal control and flying solo. beat (To radio) Dispatch this is A.U.D. 442, tranquilizers loaded. I'm moving onto the property."

(This next line is a rhetorical comment by the character after her partner leaves to rescue a politician trapped by the invaders)

"Fine, you go save the wrinkly ass money-laundering politician. I'll go save the women and children. That's...just...FINE!:

(This next line is the character yelling during a firefight in which flying alien invaders descend on the scene)

"SCREAMERS! Take Cover!"

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
