Job Description

We are looking for a possible daughter VO, a girl anywhere between 6 and 16, or a male read as a second option. This is for a 30 second regional TV spot for a ski resort, east coast USA. We do not have an approved script so there will be changes to that after VO selection.

Female read:
This person could be any one of the daughters in the spot. She narrates the action as if recounting the events of her day or describing what she'll be getting up to at the resort. She's a shit disturber, but not a little shit. She has respect for her elders and the rules, but isn't afraid to have her own opinion or do things differently. She's been shaped by the mountain, tough on the outside, but loving on the inside. Her tone is excited and playful, but not giddy. She'll speak quickly due to the fun, but can catch herself as she tries to sound more like an adult.

Reference: Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass) + Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Modern Family)

Male read: This is a person who represents the town, describing the resort and its amenities from outside of the family action. He is old enough to have a lot of life and mountain experiences under his belt, but young enough to jump right into the action at any point. He has a laid back attitude which keeps the level of excitement in his voice in check. He has a welcoming spirit, but doesn't sugar coat anything. There won't be surprise in his voice if someone crashes, falls over or makes a fool of themselves because that's expected, he's seen it all. He tells it like it is, and doesn't pass up an opportunity to get in a dig at someone who's being an idiot.

Reference: The Most Interesting Man in World (Dos Equis) in his late 30s + Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy)
