Job Description

Nia Media is a video/marketing company producing video projects for consumers and business owners in a variety of mediums.

Ultimately, we are looking for a good working relationship with talented/reliable voice over artists for on going voice over work.

This initial project is a revision for my personal portfolio & requires a female voice with a news anchor reading style. You can hear the original female voice at the beginning of this short video:

Script & Instructions for this audition:

" And reports have been flooding in, that one of the largest comic book companies has been keeping their deadliest weapon a secret from the general public. (Pause) Leaving us all to wonder. (Pause) Are we still (Pause)....in danger."
(Although the last line is a question, it should be read as a statement.)

Instructions for the read over:
1.Because this script is very short, please read it completely through. (at least once) (Yes,audio watermarks are ok)
2. Reference the initial video for pacing/timing/intonation.
3. We are listening for voice quality and Microphone quality.
4. After reading the script once as scripted, feel free to read it again improvise words/reading style etc. as we realize you are a creative professional and may offer something we haven't thought of.

Instructions for Proposals & Quotes

1.Be sure to include your contact information (best email/phone) with your proposal as we may have questions about this or other projects.

2.Due to the large number of proposals we receive, please submit your best quote first, as time restraints prevent us from going into one on one negotiations with each contractor. There is a lot of talent here, so when comparing similar applicants, we will take a closer look at who gave the best quote.

Nia Media's Recording Licensing/Usage Policy:

Please note that if awarded this project, all subsequent recordings become the sole property of Nia Media and principle owners for use in any medium the principles see fit. If you are concerned with how these recordings will be used i.e. web,tv,radio, etc and desire additional compensation (royalties, points, or additional compensation aside from the agreed upon quote) please DO NOT Submit a quote as we do not offer such compensation. We pay the agreed upon quote amount for total ownership of the project recording(s).

Feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns. Otherwise, providers will be contacted if chosen for this particular project.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
