Job Description

Approx. 2:00-2:30 in length, need 2-3 takes. Not too posh sounding, no drawn out syllables.

Rough draft of script: (this will be polished soon)

The main window is for viewing both live and historical data. The date picker shows the date we're currently viewing.

The strategy picker lists all currently trading strategies, along with the PNL and percent complete. These numbers are updated every second.

Selecting a strategy displays that strategy in detail in the main table to the right. Every order is listed, and the columns are populated with values such as outstanding shares, average fill price, and so on. These rows are color coded based on the percent filled, or on the PNL for that particular order.

Above the details table is a live display of PNL for this strategy, and aggregate numbers for total shares and market value.

We can chart data by creating an empty chart and manually selecting the strategy or order, or by simply right-clicking a strategy or order. Right clicking a strategy in the strategy picker lets us instantly chart the PNL, percent done, etc. Since we are viewing a strategy in realtime, the new chart automatically updates. We can adjust the update frequency and zoom in on areas of interest.

From this chart window we can plot other values, or switch to another live strategy.

When viewing a strategy in detail, we can right click on an order row to plot values for that particular order. These plots are also auto-updating.

We view historical data as easily as realtime data. We use the date picker to select any previous trading day. Notice the numbers are now static, end-of-day results. The strategy picker shows us all the strategies traded on that particular day and the final trading profit or loss. Likewise within a chart window we can use the date picker to see a previous day and view intraday curves.

The search tool has built-in shortcuts for finding the best strategies or trades over various periods. We can also create a custom search with multiple criteria to filter through historical data.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
