About Us:
Gecko Broadcast Productions is a long-standing production company based in Tucson, Arizona. This high quality production company has produced and provided production services for a stellar list of clients ever since 1981.

Gecko Broadcast Production’s team has produced award winning television programs for over twenty years. Major awards include twenty-one Rocky Mountain Emmy awards in directing, photography, editing, documentary, and feature categories. Currently, Daniel Duncan is director, videographer and editor of The Desert Speaks, a nationally distributed series on PBS about the Sonoran Desert. (This series is carried by seven of the top ten U.S. markets.) Several of these programs are PBS network specials. Daniel has also been honored with four Arizona Press Club awards, an Associated Press International award, a Best of the West award and a gold Addy.

The Project:
Our script is not yet completed. It will consist of no more than a 10 minute dialogue for an hour-long documentary marketed towards PBS with potential distribution to HD Discovery, Animal Planet, Life, etc., as well as international distribution in Europe, Asia, Australia, Mexico, Central and South America.

Our project is a $125,000 documentary filmed at various locations and events throughout the United States, focusing on the versatility of the Arabian horse as a sport horse, show horse, endurance horse, and companion. Our film also explores the myriad relationships that exist between a person and their horse.

The production company has aired 2 other documentaries on Arabian horses, one of which won an Emmy. We hold over 20 Rocky Mountain EMM awards in directing, photography, editing, documentary, and feature categories.
