Job Description

We would need the talentfor an hour-long session or less, and we would prefer someone who can do an ISDN patch, but if not, we at least need to be able to direct them while they record via phone patch. (There will be several clients attending on our end.)

The audition script is attached, use the first script for the announcer and the third script for the young woman. The specs are below.

Announcer (all three spots):
Male. Warm, relaxed baritone. Authoritative (45+). Must not sound like a commercial radio station announcer. More like a network news anchor—same "school" as Walter Cronkite, but not an impersonation.

Young Woman ('Story' spot):
Mid-30s. Warm and relaxed with a sense of romance.
Note: "Romance" not meaning sexy, but rather dramatic. The read should be a balance of the drama in the text, and the understated, thoughtful style of the woman's inner voice, dictating what she's typing.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
