Job Description

“THE FERRIS EFFECT”

TV Spot Description:

Open on solid sweep. A mitten, the best-known symbol of Michigan, enters the screen. As the VO delivers the copy, a series of spectacular film, photography and edit techniques transform the mitten into a boxing glove, symbolizing the powerful effect Ferris State University has on students and, ultimately, the state of Michigan.

Exaggerated SFX and film effects put what’s seen and said together for a powerful one – two punch.

VO Talent Direction-
Strong, almost forceful. Not announcer-y, Empowering and Powerful, not newscaster like.

Celebrity influence - Michael C Hall (he does the VO on the Dodge commercials that are out now) He has a strong, unique voice quality.
