Job Description

Here is the video we are working on

https://youtu.be/9t-ZVkI_EkE

We are looking to change the voice over based on comments from our client. They feel the current voice is to young and soft.and are looking for a stronger female voice.

These are their exact comments. Yes they are the easiest to understand but hopefully you get the sense of things.

I REALLY don’t like the VO talent- it’s too soft. Think a less corporate voice is needed, and the read is too “up” and rounded. It needs to feel grittier to match the grit in the content and authenticity of the report.
I don't find her to be a strong female voice. In this this far she'd be more soft and emotional to me.  I think we need a female with a strong voice.  Something that sounds wise and knowing...(hence words like gritty).    I'd go more Angelina Jolie in SALT or Charleze Theron in Atomic Blond.

"How she sounds in this is right for setting the stage and dealing with the realities the youth face. But I'd instruct her to be a little more warm than she sounds in this when she talks about how things are turning around in the projects."

So try a few different takes where the positive and negative inflections go along with the story elements as necessary.

The client likes the end more then the beginning as I think they want to "set the stage" with a strong documentary feel rather then a happy promo.

Note from Voices.com: Client posted job privately on 11/23/2017 and has requested that job be made public. Job was approved for public posting on 11/24/2017 generating additional notifications at that time.
