Job Description

This would be used for an electronics manufacture's animated wireless solution promo video.

1. Fred, a graying ex-rocker, is stretched out lifelessly on the couch in the den watching a video of his favorite salsa band on his old laptop, listening on small white ear buds. Fred strains, winces – he can hardly hear the music.

Fred's line: I gotta get my groove back!

2. Mary, a bottle blond, is in the living room, propped up on the couch. She is watching a soap opera on an old television, with a flickering screen and white plastic knobs decorating its veneer cabinet.

Mary's lines: (Gushing) If only I could see more clearly!
(Gushing) I love you Mr. Jones!

3. Jill, a punk, is in the bath listening to music from an old cassette boom-box – the sound is scratchy and distorted. The music slides to a halt and the tape unwinds itself and starts to curl out of the draw and around the room.

Jill's lines: (Petulantly) I NEED more!
I’ve got everything I need right here, right now, forever!

4. Jack, lays listlessly on his bed, with his boxers peeking over his board-shorts wearing shades, flicking through photos of his band on stage, on an ancient flip-phone.

Jack's lines: (Rapping lazily) Little Jack Jones, lay on his bed – dead – to the world, to the world…
(Singing) Please allow me to introduce myself I’m a Jack of wealth and taste!

Announcer's VO
Mr. and Mrs. Jones and their barely grown-up kids live a disconnected life below their expectations...

That night Fred Jones dreamed of a much better life… And at dawn all his dreams came true.
