Job Description

The project is an infomercial/"who we are" video for Alaska CHARR's annual report. CHARR represents all of the leaders in the food and beverage industry so the voice must be inviting, and knowledgable.

The timing on the opening is critical, the audio layer is ominous and the onscreen text that matches is medium-slow paced.

If I select you I will be needing a finished VO cut by Wednesday evening. I will not consider voices who don't read a portion of the script. Thanks!

Script:

Every Year
The Industry Faces
Even More…
More scrutiny…
More regulation…
More to fight.

We’ve got lots of issues.

Hotels, restaurants, bars and package stores from across the state are represented by the Alaska Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant and Retailer’s Association.

Industry volunteers provide the leadership and direction for the Association.

The Board of Directors and its Committees are the lifeblood of this organization, and you are invited to participate.

CHARR has eight strong Affiliates across the State of Alaska representing us when government issues arise and in local public relations.

CHARR Members receive discounts on credit card processing, email marketing, food shows and education programs.

ProStart is a National Restaurant Association high school culinary management program that culminates in an Iron-Chef Style competition

CHARR gives you the opportunity to get together with your industry peers from across the State. You can share challenges and find better solutions for your business, and have some fun at the same time.

The CHARR Staff is working for you to represent, educate and defend our industry. You can help by staying informed; read Toast Magazine, our mailings and emails, and check out our website for the latest information on issues impacting your industry.

These are just a few things CHARR does for you, your business, and your employees. To learn more or to get involved contact the Alaska CHARR Office at 907-274-8133 or log on at www.alaskacharr.com

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
