Job Description

*Project Overview: We're producing augmented reality scenes from the Alamo story that will be seen as part of the Witte Museum's Tricentennial Exhibit, celebrating San Antonio's tricentennial and the Alamo. Juana Alsbury and other historic figures from the Alamo story will appear as animated 3D models within the scene. The voiceover is meant to portray Juana Alsbury.

*Intended Audience: all ages, museum visitors

*Artistic Direction:
>> Juana Alsbury was born in San Antonio de Bexar in 1888. She was the sister-in-law of James Bowie. Juana is sharing her perspective in this scene from the Alamo story. The voice characterization for Juana Alsbury should be "mild Spanish accent, not cartoonish" & should be conversational, as if she's sharing her life's story with a small informal group - relating the significance of what occurred at the Alamo.
>> 24-yr old, Female, mild Spanish accent (not cartoonish); conversational narrative tone; warm, personal, sincere
>> The writing style is reflective of how a storyteller's verbal account might actually look if transcribed literally - phrases and added bits to encourage understanding - a somewhat reflective delivery with a conscious use of cadence to help make a point and help the listener stay connected with the story.

*Technical Requirements:
>> Project producer and writer would prefer to conference call into the session to guide the voice performance, as needed.
>> Prefer Narration to be recorded at 24-bit, 96kHz resolution to a mono .WAV file. (16-bit, 48kHz mono .WAV at a minimum is acceptable, but please don't export a 16-bit, 48kHz source recording as a 24-bit, 96kHz file)

phonetic spelling for all uncommon terms & names are listed at the end of the script
