Job Description

Epic, historical, dramatic video open for the Boston College Ice Jam. Can not be read too slow.

After years of searching, the book containing the legend of Ice Jam has been rediscovered.

Upon the hallowed land and resevior on which Conte Forum now rests a ritual once took place. The first owners of the very location we now occupy celebrated an annual event meant to showcase the incredible athletic feats of locals hosted by the Lawrence Family, it was called the “Amos Lawrence’s Jamboree”. For twenty fall seasons upon this land, a field of glory was created from the ice of the reservoir and the wood from the Amos’ nearby barn upon these great Heights. Shortly after the purchase of the land in 1908 by Thomas Gasson SJ, President of Boston College, the final “Ice Jamboree” was held. In 1910, under the light of the full moon and chilled by the coming winter people gathered to celebrate this tradition one last time before the ending of this era and the welcoming of the era of Boston College.

Legends, leaders, and Champions continued to skate, dribble, and score upon this great terrain which Conte Forum now stands, but the Amos “Ice Jamboree” was gone forever.

Or so they thought. A great discovery on the 100th anniversary of this great meeting, when Boston College will resurrect this storied tradition where court meets ice. Under the new title of “Ice Jam” Boston College will honor its legacy of champions with a showcase of its own. It’s back BC…Are you ready?

Ladies and Gentleman, Please welcome the host of “Ice Jam” Bob Costas.
