Job Description

Hello Voice artists

So, presenting our most current voiceover need, here we have the DSC LTE Communicator (I can hear the impressed oohs and ahs). This device is used in home security and automation systems. It's essentially the transmitter that connects to all the various electronic elements in the house. It's the hub and like a router, speed is important.

Currently communicators are 3G-based but will soon be transitioning to LTE (4G) technology. This video is meant to coax distributors to upgrade before they'll be forced to upgrade because of obsolescence.

The basic theme is sunsets and sunrises. Sunsets are a fancy tech term for something running low on shelf life. The video is meant to point out to people that in technology sunsets are just a fact of life. It's the rules you know going in. Upgrading is implied and now it's time again to upgrade.

The script takes a proactive tone with some fun poked at past tech advancements that are horribly antiquated now. "Marvel" at the past high water marks. Not in a sarcastic manner, but more a "remember when?" Change is imminent.

We need a voice that's confident, upbeat and current. Someone optimistic but realistic. Someone who wants to make me willingly upgrade my equipment. Sell me on it.

Thanks for your time and your auditions.

Charlie

PS the sample script and the attached script are exactly the same.
