Job Description

A short video about he history of how the Ozette Indian Potato came with Spanish explores to a remote Indian village on the coast of Washington state. This is one of the potatoes that will figure in our 9-course "Uber Tuber" menu starting next week

The video will be put up on YouTube. It is a factual and educational piece, but it will also be used as collateral material for announcing the menu cycle.

The story is told as a narrative voice over by an OLDER NATIVE AMERICAN WOMAN with a warm and kind voice. She is talking/ telling a story, so there needs to be some color in teh telling, but there needs to be that bit of native American "holding back" in the voice, too (if that makes sense).

I'm taking care of the music and sound effects.

The piece is about 650 words in length.
Narration portion will run around 3:30 to 3:40 minutes.

Please submit a sample from the script. Unless you submit a previous "native-American" voice, I won't be able to guess what you'd sound like doing this part. Obviously, native American isn't much different than regular English, but you either hear it or you don't.

Thank you. I will do my best to make a nice finished piece with your voice!

Best,
Ron
