Job Description

We are searching for a talented individual to voice an excerpt from Elizabeth Coffal Robinson's personal account of her experience as a patrol officer in Indianapolis in the 1960's. This excerpt will be one of the few historical accounts included with many current and recently retired police officers sharing their experiences on the job. The actor must be able to perform as if Robinson is recounting her story in a casual conversation, like she is being interviewed in real time rather than reading from a diary.

Elizabeth Coffal Robinson and her partner Betty Blankenship were the first police women assigned to patrol together in the country. They helped pave the way for women in law enforcement being given the same responsibilities and training as their male counterparts.
