Job Description

Reading the narration in a very authentic, documentary or interview voice. Very conversational and believable. This is not a sales driven piece or radio spot. No loud announcer voices. The tone is heartfelt, emotional, raw. Dialect should feel naturally inner-city or urban. No caricature or stereotypes. The voice of someone who grew up in a rough place but is showing their sensitive, guard-down side. The announcer needs to be clearly- but not slang-ily or deep southern accented- African American.

Video will be used on the non-profits site as a dramatized testimonial.

If we are strongly considering you, please be prepared to send us a downloadable MP3 sample of the attached script for us to review for final selection.

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
