Job Description

Our company is working on some internal projects, and our first creation is an example of a 'spec' commercial spot. For the copy, we've chosen a poem by Pablo Neruda, the words of which would be intended to describe/sell the chosen 'product'.

This would be an example of selling a brand by use of sensual or sexy elements; e.g., poetry and an exotic, smoky-smooth voice.

A great example of the voice-type we are looking for is The Most Interesting Man in the World from the Dos Equis commercials:

Again, this is an internal spec-project and, as such, will not be aired on television. Below is the poem we are using for our script [it is also attached as a PDF].

"Lovely one, my lovely one,
Your voice, your skin, your smile,
All that is mine, lovely one,
All that is mine, my dear,
Your being, your light,
The curve and fragrance of your body,
Where my heart burns and breaths.
When you walk or rest,
When you sing or sleep,
When you suffer or dream,
Always,
When you are near or far,
Always,
You are mine, my lovely one,
Always."
~ Pablo Neruda

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
