Job Description

AGU (American Geophysical Union) is a non-profit, located in Washington D.C. that's dedicated to the furtherance of the Earth and space sciences, and to communicating our science’s ability to benefit humanity. We achieve these goals through publishing scientific journals and other technical publications, sponsoring scientific meetings, supporting education and outreach programs designed to increase public understanding of and support for our science, and a variety of other activities.

AGU is celebrating its centennial and the purpose of this video is to highlight this milestone and give some insight into what we're looking to achieve moving forward. The video will begin & end w/ the two VO's, which will sandwich several short soundbites of recorded AGU officers and members. The entire video should run no longer then 2.5 minutes and will be posted to the public on the AGU YouTube channel and its social media outlets. Animations, related subject images and a musical composition will accompany the recorded VO. The entire VO will be approximately 350 words and may require several revisions. The final edited end-product will (VO, music, visuals, etc) will be complete around the first week of June, 2018.
