Job Description

Hi, how's it going?

I'm creating a motion-graphics video that will be used to get people to vote for an important ballot initiative in San Diego. The initiative will make big changes to San Diego's education system and will finally help give students they education they deserve!

What I'm looking for in the voiceover is a Male, young adult, with a conversational and sincere tone. I want the narration to sound very genuine and like you're talking to a real guy who cares. The opposite of announcer-y and exaggerated.

If you saw the documentary, "Waiting for Superman", the tone of the narrator's voice in that movie is really close to what I'm looking for. Genuine, warm, conversational. This video will have a very similar tone and feel to "Waiting for Superman", especially the motion graphics parts from that movie.

The script is about 800 words and should be around 5 min. of narration or less.

The audience will be eligible voters in the San Diego area. We'll reach them primarily through the internet with this video.

Regarding direction, I would like to give you direction if possible, so let's talk about it. If you prefer to record from a home studio, maybe we can figure some way that I can give you feedback over the phone or something.

Either way, I'm a very friendly director and enjoy collaborating with actors to make sure we both end up with work we'll love. I'm really looking forward to working with you. You can check out some of my other directorial works on my website: www.jaeminyi.com. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
