Job Description

Female Announcer
Auditions only, please. No unrelated demos.

she is the soft, romantic, almost sensual side of the Valentine’s equation, which balances the masculine, harder tone of the rest of the spots. The yin to his yang, so to speak. She is easy to listen to, feminine, effortless, and a little bit sexy—but the delivery is not breathy or without impact. She’s probably in her late twenties, or thirties. She adds the necessary romance and sensuality to the brand.

Hockey Play-By-Play Announcer
Auditions only, please. No unrelated demos.

Male, 30+ sounding, vocal quality important, but familiarity with hockey terminology and common phrases a must. The word "Announcer" here does not refer to radio morning show type radio announcer. It's less about the pipes, more about the energy and knowledge of the game.
Must sound Canadian—i.e. flat accent, meaning that if you pronounce the word "hockey" as if it the first syllable rhymes with "hack," you sound too American. And if you're English, Irish, Scottish, Australian, South African...you won't sound American (Canadian) enough.

Monster Truck / Tractor Pull Promo Announcer
Auditions only, please. No unrelated demos.

Male, insanely macho, deep voiced with the ability to growl. Super high-energy. Severe brain damage from testosterone poisoning an asset, but must be able to talk fast.
Also, we will want zero compression or effects on your voice when we do the session. We will add that ourselves, so we need you to be close without any.

Golf TV Announcer
Auditions only, please. No unrelated demos.

Male, typical hushed, mock-whisper delivery, full of anticipation. 30+ sounding. American or UK (or Commonwealth) accent.

Football TV Play-By-Play Announcer
Auditions only, please. No unrelated demos.

Male, very macho, self-assured, highly knowledgeable about football to the point of arrogance. Sound like you played the game and can still play better than the guys on the field. Steroid use optional. Channel John Madden.
