Job Description

We represent a (currently) mid-sized professional YouTube Channel that has a child as its star. It's not your average channel and tends to produce content that's a little more production-polished than most. They can't command the take-home pay of some of the giant channels out there, but they do get paid at least by brands and PR companies, which means we can sometimes afford a VO artist to join us.

We're after someone who can do repeat work (maybe 3 or 4 jobs a month or so). The number of words per project would range from 150 to 400 on average. Always scripted and usually commenting on what the kids are up to, or as a "top 10" announcer, etc.

Due to budget constraints, this job currently doesn't pay top-dollar, but it's fun and varied. (Although if it grows, the pay to you as a regular would grow with it).

A previous VO talent that has been awarded this type of work before has mimicked the VO from the X-Factor (Peter Dickson) as an example. It's really just an excitable, fun voice that appeals to kids. However, don't feel compelled to provide that as a voice sample.. We could just as easily imagine Stephen Fry's wise, rich voice on the content!

This current job is for a new Zuru toy called 'Smashers' (series 2) which is on the theme of 'Gross' - It's a collectable toy the kids smash to open and there's a gruesome looking toy inside.

For accent, we don't mind - English British preferably, but English American is just as fine.
