Job Description

Can you sound like "the movie preview guy"? If so, I need you for this local Waterpark spot we are doing.

Big booming voice is needed, for the following script. We could be using the same voice for a few other spots through out the season, but that hasn't been decided yet.

We are paying $100 for this :30 spot. If you can sound like Don Lafontaine, or something really close, we'd like to hear it. The read should be dark and mysterious.

Thank so much for submitting your read.

SCRIPT:

In a cold world ... where work measures who we are ...

Where apologies for "gotta work lates" and "can't do it this weekends" become the norm.

In a world where summer can't start fast enough ...

One respie rises ... gathers strength ... and energy. Quietly, like a phoenix rising, it stands ready ...

... to make every... second ... count ...

(SFX and music starts)
(VO Announcer should be a little more cheerful at this part)

Opening Memorial Day weekend, the waterpark presents "8,726,400" - the biggest fastest, funnest, safest, cleanest, number one-est waves at the lake.

(VO Announcer back to being dark and mysterious.)

Make ready ... to ride.
