Job Description

We're coming out with a new advertising product and a website to accompany it. The very first thing on the homepage will be a video explaining what the product is, how it works, and why it's good for game developers.

You will be the voice of this video, and maybe ultimately, the voice of this company.

The video is about 60-70 seconds long. The script attached walks you through what you will say, and what illustration/animation will appear while you say it. The total word count is about 200 words.

We are looking for a warm, young hip sounding male that appeals to the web 2.0 crowd. Think NPR or look at Google Chrome Notebook videos like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xa9D1kPQNE

It's a casual video that explains what the product is and isn't trying to be flashy like an infomercial. So please leave your exaggerated salesman or monster truck rally voice at the door.

Please record a few lines so we can see how you make pauses in between each line, and pick them back up again. (The pauses are so the animations can finish illustrating the point you just made)

Note from Voices.com: It is recommended that you protect all your audition work by watermarking the submission or only recording a portion of the script provided by the client. This will render your audition file useless for anything other than reviewing your voice. Not sure what watermarking is? Please visit our FAQ section for more information.
