Job Description

Lots of fun, but also lots of copy. We are creating a sales audio CD of a mock radio program -- think Daily Show meets Rachel Meddow meets Sports Radio (minus all political or sports content!) We've already conducted the audio interviews and cut the files down to length -- but now we need to replace the producer's voice. When we record, we'll play the interviewee's lead-in for you over the phone so you can match the proper tone for each pickup.

Requirements:
1) Major personality! If you're thinking "Bring it on, I've always wanted my own show!" keep reading.
2) Can take direction, professional to work will, and enjoy collaboration. And we'll take ad libs.
3) You need to be able to do "acting." as you'll be faking interviews after the fact. And reacting to things that aren't there yet (i.e.sound effects or music.)
4) Your own studio, with the ability to take our direction over the phone live.
5) Willing to do a short round of pickups if needed.
6) Over all we're more interested in the "feel" of the read than pitch perfect pipes or diction.
7) No editing. I want all the takes. So while the copy is long, there's no back end for you.
7) The script will be about 15-20 minutes of actual copy, generally broken up into one or two sentence questions. Apart from the open, (by far the biggest chunk of copy) of which I am attaching a rough copy.

Note: We are leaning toward a woman as all the interviewees are men, but that's not locked.

Final Direction: Reading any section of the attached copy is great. I'm completely unconcerned about the actual words, I just need to hear "performance."
