Job Description

We are producing a short, 3-4 animated minute film for a non-profit organization about Health Disparities in the St. Louis Region. The film is meant to be a supplement to and an explainer for a news series about a number of health issues in the region.

It will be a viral video, web use primarily, some limited screenings. No broadcast at this time. If that occurs, will renegotiate deal.

The film is narrated by the daughter of the main character as she describes her father's battle with Diabetes and various environmental health issues. She is always off screen.

We are looking for an adult female who can sound like a 9-10 year old girl. African American is a plus, but not a deal breaker.

Word count on the script is 820.

Direction: The script has the potential to be played over the top, we would like to avoid that. We would like the reading to be observational, almost as if the character feels as though it is predetermined that she will suffer the same fate as her father.
